Why I PERFORM
AND HOW I STARTED
I've loved music my whole life and have been singing for as long as I can remember. At around 8 years old I started learning guitar, and there’s been no looking back since. I now play guitar, ukulele & piano to accompany my singing. My main repertoire consists of indie/folk covers, with elements of pop & jazz. My passion drives me — which is why I put my heart & soul into my music. My essence is reflected in my writing and my interpretation of others' work, which is what makes opportunities to share my music special, because so many people of different backgrounds & experiences can connect through music, and that's why I perform.
WHAT I PLAY
After discovering my love for making noise (and lots of it), I fell in love with a few other tools for making a racket. Since learning guitar at age 8, I’ve also picked up a bit of piano, some ukulele, a dash of bass + a few percussive instruments. The more the merrier!
WHERE I’VE PERFORMED
I’m lucky enough to have played all over the place since I started gigging 10 years ago! From venues like The Westernport Hotel, Beach Hotel Byron Bay, & Chai Wen, to restaurants and cafes such as Urban Grooves & Passage Thru Malaysia, I’ve had the pleasure to provide a cruisy atmosphere for all sorts of occasions. One of my favourite parts of what I do is being part of big days, like weddings and birthdays, and even festivals and markets (including Renaissance Village Festival, Warrandyte Festival, St Andrews Market & Camberwell Market).
